With Masternest, scrap is reduced, tool life is optimized, scheduling and production times are planned, and total cycle time is reduced. All achieved at the touch of a button!
Design
Once individual parts have been programmed with Masterwork, other Masterwood applications, or using programs generated from external CAD (Dxf), the automatic procedure for optimizing parts to be obtained from a single panel is launched through Masternest by entering the following information:
- Part arrangement with the ability to define up to 10 priority levels
- possibility of piece rotation on panels without grain
- possibility of using internal areas as well
- optimization of the number of tool changes
Once the optimization program is completed, Masternest generates the following information:
- automatic calculation of the required number of panels
- statistics of utilization of available area
- cutting patterns
- processing times
